Job Summary
Lead governance and continuous improvement of APA’s end-to-end contractor partnering framework across Australia, collaborating with Infrastructure Delivery and Operations to strengthen contractor risk management, drive HSEH performance in high-risk areas, and contribute to M&A due diligence and integrations. Design and evolve frameworks, protocols and systems for contractor partnering and HSEH integration, deliver Line 2 assurance and oversight on contractor performance and control effectiveness, analyze trends and lessons learned to embed enterprise-wide improvements, and influence senior stakeholders to translate data and insights into practical improvements across major contracts and transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in HSE assurance, governance or risk within complex, asset-intensive or operational environments
- Demonstrated capability in establishing or enhancing contractor partnering frameworks
- Experience supporting or leading HSE due diligence and integration activities within M&A environments
- Strong technical understanding of safety management systems, assurance practices and risk controls
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Strategic mindset with a track record of translating data into enterprise-level improvements
