Manager, HR (Hammond, LA)

Manage and administer all human resources activities including employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services for the assigned division. Lead implementation of people-related policies and programs while coaching managers on correct interpretation of Company HR policy. Support recruitment, selection, and retention through new-employee orientations, career-pathing monitoring, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing. Work with local managers to determine training needs, compile data on requirements, and develop proactive training plans. Ensure internal consistency in administering job evaluations and compensation programs, assist with salary and wage administration, and manage Worker's Compensation claims and restricted duty assignments. Represent the company at unemployment hearings as needed. This onsite role requires Monday through Friday flexibility for a multiple shift operation.
