Job Summary
Clinical Services Specialist role encompassing both educational leadership and quality outcomes oversight. Responsible for development, review, and rollout of clinical policies and education materials; implementation and monitoring of plans to meet facility goals; sharing best practices to support quality management programs. May assist in preceptor training programs and in training teammates, management, and patients. Emphasizes patient-centered care and a collaborative, community-focused culture within DaVita.
Required Qualifications
- A.D.N degree from accredited school of nursing required
- RN license in state of practice required
- B.S.N preferred
- Bachelor's degree in associated field preferred
- three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Minimum of 3 years nephrology experience required (5 years preferred)
- Experience in researching, updating, and maintaining clinical policies and procedures preferred
- CNN or CDN certification within one year of hire or position change
- Current driver's license in state of residence and insurable driving record required
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible
