Manager, HIM (Onsite)

Lead the HIM team in daily operations by developing and overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct recurring quality assurance audits, evaluate workflows, and ensure timely resolution of accounts in work queues while adhering to federal and local regulations. Manage department budgets, coordinate with leadership for continuous improvement, and provide support for Human Resource guidance. Lead abstracting and retrieval of medical data, facilitate EHR design and training, and resolve data variability issues to support accurate coding and payment. Delegate tasks, provide performance reviews, and build a cohesive team aligned with business direction.
