Job Summary
Lead the HIM team in daily operations, overseeing policy implementation, data standards, and EHR design to ensure accurate coding and payment support. Monitor compliance with federal and local regulations through recurring quality assurance audits and process evaluations. Manage departmental workflows, address data variability issues, and coordinate budget reviews while providing performance coaching and team development. Facilitate resolution of disagreements and delegate tasks to maintain progress against business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Five years' of technical healthcare operations experience, including Cerner system experience
- One year leadership experience
- Registered Health Information Technician or Registered Health Information Administrator
