Job Summary
Lead electrical utility construction activities for launch facilities by developing construction drawings, managing request for proposals and competitive bids, and overseeing subcontractor selections and evaluations. Design electrical systems and supply design requirements for hazardous areas while creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Develop processes to optimize team workflow and responsibilities, leading and mentoring engineers and technicians across disciplines. Manage complex projects utilizing matrixed organizations within a fast-paced environment to support the Terran R program infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficient experience with specific examples in the construction industry working with electrical systems with a mix of analysis/design, hands-on field experience, project management, and project execution
- Demonstrated examples leading complex projects utilizing matrixed team organizations with multiple customers
- Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplined groups in a fast and dynamic work environment
- Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with DOD, USAF/USSF, and/or NASA
- Experience in the aerospace (orbital launch vehicle) sector
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
