Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers to provide IT infrastructure support, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of OS, hardware, and software. Design and implement highly available open system and virtual/cloud infrastructure while conducting Proof of Concept evaluations for new technologies. Prepare technical design documentation, liaise with vendors for server and storage setup, and manage inventory to ensure systems meet committed Service Level Agreements. Support x86 servers, storage, Windows, Linux, Oracle, and MySQL platforms. This role requires a university degree in Information Technology, at least 10 years of open system management experience, and fluency in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua.
Required Qualifications
- University degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in open system support and management, preferably in banking industry
- Solid hands-on experience in managing open system platforms and middleware
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, people management skill and leadership
- Decisive, confident and trustworthy; Independent and strong self-initiative
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective service processes
- Able to communicate in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
