Job Summary
Direct employees and ensure timely completion of daily operational routines, including Ops Walks, Q&A checks, and menu preparation while enforcing safety and sanitary standards. Manage shift schedules, monitor attendance, and assign duties based on role and skills to maintain high productivity and team morale. Handle guest concerns professionally, balance cash drawers, and perform opening and closing activities alongside Shift Leaders. Complete required administrative paperwork, enforce company policies, and communicate performance feedback to management to support the restaurant's business plan.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Fluent in English
- Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to guest satisfaction
- Effective communicator with co-workers and the restaurant management team
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have proof of insurance
- Must have telephone or other reliable method of communicating with supervisor and co-workers
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
- Must be able and willing to work weekends/nights and holidays whenever necessary
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
- Strong people/guest service skills
- Ability to look at the restaurant operations from a guest's point of view
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Able to stand for long periods of time
