Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of Medical Affairs grants, including intake, review, approval, contracting, payment, tracking, and closeout. Serve as the primary operational contact for IME/CME, IIT, publication, and sponsorship grants while ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of all activities and expenditures. Coordinate Grants Committee meetings, prepare materials, and document decisions, while partnering with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Quality to ensure adherence to internal SOPs, OIG guidance, PhRMA Code, and industry regulations. Track grant budgets, support forecasting and reconciliation with Finance, and prepare metrics dashboards on grant volume and compliance performance. Assist in developing SOPs, improving workflows, and maintaining audit readiness for Medical Affairs grants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in grants management, medical affairs operations, clinical research administration, or medical education within pharma, biotech, CRO, or academic settings
Desired Qualifications
- advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MPH, MS)
- Experience managing CME/IME, IITs, or research grants in a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of Medical Affairs compliance, grant governance, and industry codes
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
