Job Summary
Serve as a trusted advisor to government contractor clients, helping them navigate all phases of the contract and grant management lifecycle and address complex compliance and operational challenges. Lead compliance and gap assessments involving FAR, DFARS, CAS, and related federal requirements while supporting client interactions with DCAA, DCMA, and other agency auditors. Review solicitation clauses, contract terms, and award requirements to help clients understand obligations and risks, providing proposal, pricing, estimating, and cost analysis support. Assist with contract modifications, bid protests, equitable adjustments, claims, and closeouts, while helping clients develop internal controls and training. Provide leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback, and build relationships with executive stakeholders to contribute to business development. This fully remote U.S. based role requires a CPA with minimum 5 years of experience in federal contract administration and offers competitive compensation ranging from $110,300 to $176,400.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with knowledge of accounting principles
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience performing compliance, contract or grant management, contract administration, auditing, or advising organizations subject to FAR, CAS, Uniform Guidance, DFARS or other federal regulations
- Experience interfacing with DCAA, DCMA, and other agency auditors on behalf of clients (pre-award SF 1408 accounting system reviews, business system audits, floor checks, and paid voucher reviews)
- Working knowledge of the six DFARS Contractor Business Systems, including the ability to evaluate adequacy, identify deficiencies and support remediation
- Experience preparing or reviewing incurred cost submissions, provisional or forward pricing billing rates and indirect rate structures
- Familiarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles, cost allowability and allocability, and CAS Disclosure Statements
- Experience with pricing, cost or price analysis, requests for equitable adjustments, claims, terminations, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) or IPP
- Ability to travel for client work as needed, not expected to exceed 15%
