Job Summary
As Global Trade Site Lead at the East Hartford HQ, you will serve as the primary Global Trade contact for the site, coordinating with GT Program Support teams to ensure compliance with Global Trade rules and regulations and aligning programs across GTPS. You will lead site GT councils, manage site-level audits and corrective actions, maintain site data and records, and act as the point of contact for site-level governance and compliance activities. The role requires coordinating space and facility requirements, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, and delivering clear business recommendations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of global trade experience (ITAR/EAR and U.S. sanctions experience) or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of related experience, exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate in a matrixed organization with strong written and oral communication abilities. This is a Hybrid U.S.-based role located in East Hartford, CT, with regular on-site and off-site work.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field OR Advanced Degree with 5+ years global trade experience in ITAR/EAR and U.S. sanctions regulations
- 8+ years global trade experience with Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years with Advanced Degree
- Experience ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations
- Ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise good judgment and work across functions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to motivate, influence, manage crises, and develop networks with internal customers
- Experience with executive-level communication and presenting to leadership
- Ability to work in a Hybrid role onsite and offsite
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to necessary systems
