Job Summary
The Senior Manager of the Global Security Operations Center (SOC) provides strategic and operational leadership for Dentsply Sirona’s global cyber-defense function, overseeing a hybrid operational model for security monitoring and incident response. This role includes governance of security tooling, ownership of incident response workflows, and cross-functional coordination with various IT domains. Responsibilities include managing global SOC operations, mentoring a team of senior analysts, ensuring effective incident response processes, and driving compliance with cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, substantial experience in security operations, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years in security operations, cyber defense, incident response, or threat management
- 3–5 years in a leadership role managing SOC or IR teams
- Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR administration and tuning
- Proven experience managing Global SOC Operations
- Background with cloud security (Azure / GCP preferred; AWS/Alibaba a plus)
- Expert understanding of SOC operations, MITRE ATT&CK, detection engineering, and incident response methodologies
