Job Summary
Manager, Global Law Firm Engagement responsible for optimizing law firm engagement across GLCR, including onboarding of law firms, tracking performance metrics, budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate eBilling and matter management records. Works with stakeholders to improve law firm performance, prepares reports for leadership, manages the law firm contract lifecycle and relationships, and ensures adherence to policies and regulations. Requires 3+ years of law firm management experience, a BA degree, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and expertise in law firm fee negotiations, budgeting, and eBilling. This role is primarily in-office in Parsippany, NJ, with a focus on collaboration and in-person delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BA degree
- 3+ years of law firm management experience
- experience with law firm rate/fee negotiations and alternative fee arrangements
- managing outside counsel relationships
- familiarity with Ebilling platforms, billing practices, and matter management guidelines
- strong written and verbal communications skills
- ability to partner with corporate leadership and law firm management
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- knowledge of legal procedures
