Job Summary
Lead the development of investigator grant site budgets during proposal processes and support clinical trial budget finalization. Manage and oversee the grant administration team, handling budget maintenance, investigator payment processing, advance balance reconciliations, and global reporting. Interpret the financial section of Clinical Trial Agreements to facilitate accurate payments and oversee the creation of global workbooks. Contribute to the month-end close process by generating project-by-project reports on invoiced amounts, prepaid balances, and key performance indicators. Provide guidance to Project Directors and Managers on CTA financials and site payment workbook population, including training as needed. Oversee Sunshine Act Reporting and client reporting on a global basis, while managing site payments per Clinical Trial Agreement terms. Participate in internal team calls, client meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or equivalent in a similar field
- Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Research experience or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- No routine travel is expected for this position; however, occasional travel domestically or internationally may be required
- Experience with clinical trial payment process, internationally
- Experience with clinical trial agreements and site budgets
- Strong understanding of the study start-up process
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to drive and meet critical deadlines
- Fluency in English and for non-English speaking countries the local language of country where position based
