Job Summary

Lead daily management standards for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, and Cost while overseeing a multi-disciplined manufacturing operations team. Execute and continuously improve daily management processes, conduct periodic performance reviews, and perform regular 1:1s with direct reports. Collaborate with program management, engineering, quality, and supply chain partners to achieve product goals, develop hiring and training plans, and reconcile resource conflicts. Own Value Stream operations resource management, review NPI and CI process releases, and drive quality management activities including Corrective Action Boards and monthly KPI reporting. Support customer proposals by generating estimates and identifying operational risks. Plans production schedules, drives process improvement, and manages overhead and direct labor yield rates. Reports monthly Value Stream Health Checks to senior leadership and participates in monthly Program Reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of manufacturing operations management and/or program leadership experience
  • 7 years' experience with a Masters degree
  • An additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience managing or leading a team of Engineers, Technicians or other Managers
  • Proven track record and drive for achieving manufacturing and operational results, financial results; and effective and timely decision making
  • Root cause problem solving and continuous improvement skills
  • Knowledge and experience with executing process standards and risk management identification and mitigation
  • Requires experience creating a culture of engagement and inclusion, continuous improvement and teamwork
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and/or Business Administration
  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations management
  • Experience transitioning products through the product lifecycle from development to full rate production
