Job Summary
Lead the design and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure using Terraform, including network design standards and NCC hub-and-spoke architectures. Architect and manage secure, hybrid cloud integrations between on-premises environments and GCP; build scalable data platforms with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub to enable advanced analytics. Enable Generative AI initiatives via Vertex AI, implement and maintain IAM/RBAC and security controls, and develop automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, focusing on engineering excellence and operational rigor. Travel as required; role does not include visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum five years of recent Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud systems development experience
- Experience in designing cloud architectures and implementing production infrastructures and applications in GCP or equivalent environments
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker, Ansible/Chef/Puppet (preferred)
- Scripting experience in Unix/Linux environments; familiarity with GIT/SVN
- Strong understanding of networking, identity management, monitoring, logging, vulnerability management and security concepts; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to travel as required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
