Job Summary
Support the Regional Manager to implement and improve structured service delivery that engages families in resolving challenges and improving child wellbeing and safety. Achieve team performance objectives, including client satisfaction and key performance indicators aligned with organizational strategy. Lead staff recruitment, performance, development, and wellbeing while ensuring quality assurance processes and ISO 9001:2015 compliance are embedded in service delivery. Resolve complaints, contribute to reporting and business plans, and represent the organization at external meetings. Maintain positive relationships with government departments, stakeholders, and community providers while adhering to workplace health and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current C Class Queensland Driver's Licence
- Current Working with Children Check, Blue Card'
- Holds or is willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
- Physical ability to undertake job responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively; spoken and written
- Self-starter, motivates and able to self-manage work tasks
- Strong connection to and knowledge of local Indigenous Community
Desired Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services and/or Management
- Qualifications or knowledge related to Child Protection
- Extensive experience at successfully leading and developing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
