Job Summary
Front End Manager at FreshCo responsible for coaching and developing department staff, budgeting and labour cost control, inventory management, merchandising, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. Leads customer service initiatives, product knowledge, and store operations while managing budgets, training, performance management, and succession planning. Focuses on delivering a superior shopping experience, handling financial targets, and engaging with the community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of retail store experience
- Front-end department experience preferred
- High School Diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience reading and analyzing financial reports, and experience in developing and adhering to budgets
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Understanding of store operations and department budgeting
- Knowledge of OH&S and Food Safety regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching, training, and performance management
