Job Summary
Front Desk Manager at Movement Fishtown leads the front desk team to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences. Responsibilities include welcoming members, conducting gym tours and guided experiences, educating guests about products and promotions, managing check-ins and transactions, supervising and coaching desk staff, hiring and training, scheduling, overseeing safety and risk management, assisting with events, and ensuring adherence to gym standards. The role requires 2+ years in a people-facing role and 1+ year in a supervisor/manager capacity, the ability to instruct introductory climbing classes, and regular evening/weekend availability. This is a full-time position with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, located in Philadelphia, PA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years successful experience in people-facing role in the hospitality, recreation, service industry, or related role
- 1+ year successful experience in supervisor or manager level role
- Ability to instruct Introductory climbing classes (training provided)
- Regular evening and weekend availability
- Full-time availability and schedule flexibility (Tuesday–Saturday as noted)
