Job Summary
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis. Own forecast accuracy and variance analysis, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions to leadership. Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic initiatives and new product launches. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, performance dashboards, and executive-level insights for senior leadership. Manage lender reporting, covenant calculations, and recurring financial guidance for functional leaders. Lead monthly financial performance reviews and translate complex results into compelling narratives for strategic decision-making. Continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to enhance efficiency and business insight. This role partners closely with VB Spine's mission-focused team supporting surgeons during life-changing spinal procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of business experience in increasingly complex financial roles, with special emphasis on financial budgeting and planning
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
- Working knowledge of integrated financial systems such as JD Edwards, Power BI, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Effective time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence others to drive change
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, Master's degree, CMA preferred
- Managerial experience, leading staff (preferred, not required)
- Industry experience with a company that makes and sells products
- Financial modeling experience
- Strong positive attitude, self-motivated, desire to learn
