Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of flexographic print production, including scheduling, capacity management, and resource allocation to meet forecasted demand. Monitor key performance indicators like production rate and downtime to identify bottlenecks, while coordinating with purchasing, pre-press, and shipping teams to optimize workflow and ensure material availability. Manage a team of operators and associates through weekly meetings, technical training, and safety oversight, enforcing OSHA compliance and 5S initiatives. Lead troubleshooting for complex printing issues such as registration and ink defects, and implement continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. Ensure all jobs meet specifications by verifying proofs and maintaining quality standards across the department.
