Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation and evolution of RMIT’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategic Workforce Development Plan, aligning with Treaty and institutional priorities; drive measurable improvements in ATSI employment outcomes (recruitment, retention, progression, leadership representation) using data-driven insights; shape enterprise-wide workforce practices to embed culturally safe approaches; partner with Colleges, Portfolios and the Indigenous Staff Network to embed local ATSI employment plans and distribute accountability; provide expert coaching to leaders to build culturally safe teams and implement employment commitments; design initiatives strengthening sustainable talent pathways for ATSI staff from attraction through to leadership; contribute to organizational capability by embedding inclusive practices and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment priorities across the University; appointment subject to Working with Children and National Police Checks; commitment to flexible, hybrid work arrangements from Melbourne CBD campus.
