Job Summary
Lead a firmware team in NVIDIA's FW Management group in Santa Clara, providing technical guidance and career mentorship to a group of engineers; drive planning, scheduling, and execution of firmware projects (including out-of-band/side-band management and peripherals with BMC communications); collaborate across architecture and software teams through the full software development lifecycle; work in pre- and post-silicon environments to understand networking technology, systems debugging, and HW/FW/SW interrelations; require proficiency in C (and assembly) and Python, with strong embedded real-time software expertise, debugging, and multitasking abilities. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of network protocols, experience with Agile methodologies, and a track record of leadership and team development; base salary ranges depend on location and experience (Level 3: 224,000–356,500 USD; Level 4: 272,000–431,250 USD) with equity and benefits; Applications accepted through June 26, 2026. Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of managerial experience
- 8+ years of firmware development experience
- Proficient in C (and assembly)
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Excellent understanding of embedded SW and real-time programming
- Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving skills
