Job Summary
The Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting will lead the preparation of SEC quarterly and annual reports, coordinate footnote disclosures, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations. This role requires expertise in technical accounting, particularly within the property and casualty insurance sector, and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, and CPA certification preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical accounting knowledge across US GAAP
- 7+ years of combined Big 4 audit or advisory and corporate experience supporting public companies
- A track record of researching accounting issues
- Strong project management instincts
- Ability to work independently while staying closely connected to cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset and genuine attention to detail
- B.S. in Accounting or equivalent experience; CPA preferred
