Job Summary
Lead complex financial instruments and private debt valuation engagements for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, taxation, and corporate governance. Deliver in-depth understanding of derivatives pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations, and DCF models to solve business problems and help management and boards arrive at informed decisions. Manage Valuations teams by coaching and supporting team development while sharing technical knowledge across the national and global PwC network. Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development, assist team members in valuation technical skills, and build internal and external peer networks. Establish credibility with existing clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- A strong academic background in a quantitative or finance discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or other relevant postgraduate degrees)
- Extensive experiences in valuation of financial instruments including options, embedded derivatives, and private debt
- An investigative mindset with attention to detail with an ability to see the big picture
- A demonstrated ability to develop client relationships with existing and potential clients
- Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver on time, take ownership of tasks and assignments and accept responsibility for outcomes
- Experienced at preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of CFA, FRM, or PRM designation is an asset
