Manager Finance Transformation

Job Summary
Lead finance transformation projects focusing on design, optimization and digitization of finance operating models within PwC's CMAAS practice. Manage workstreams across core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, payroll), selection and implementation of finance applications and software, and enablement of cloud, automation, visualization, and emerging AI use cases in finance. Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, contribute to CMAAS practice growth, and coach junior team members. This role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, hands-on ERP/consolidation/BI tools, advanced Excel, and familiarity with SQL/Python; fluency in English; and a hybrid work model in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in financial audit, financial controlling, accounting, consulting, or finance transformation projects
- Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP principles and their application
- Strong understanding of business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, payroll), internal controls, and operating model design
- Hands-on experience with ERP, accounting/consolidation software, BI/analytics tools
- Advanced Excel is required
- Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Python, or similar is a plus; Familiarity with cloud/SaaS and API concepts will be highly regarded
- Strong project and team management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and with other stakeholders
- Fluency in English
