Job Summary
Lead Finance transformation initiatives within the CFO organization, guiding cross-functional workstreams from intake through planning, execution, adoption, and benefits tracking. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and business stakeholders to translate priorities into detailed scope, requirements, plans, and leadership-ready materials. Responsibilities include facilitating requirements gathering, documenting current and future-state processes, developing project plans and business cases, coordinating timelines and risks, supporting UAT and adoption activities, and driving efficiency and control improvements using AI-enabled tooling to enhance documentation and delivery. The role requires independent leadership of cross-functional initiatives, strong communication with leadership, and the ability to operate with limited day-to-day direction. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience are required, with preferred credentials in PMP, CPA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, or Scrum. The position is based in West Des Moines, IA, with on-site responsibilities as part of a broader, multi-location organization.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, consulting, finance transformation, finance operations, accounting, FP&A, process improvement, or a related function
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading projects, workstreams, or cross-functional initiatives
- Strong business analysis and project delivery skills (requirements gathering, process documentation, risk/issue tracking, status reporting)
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve project delivery, documentation, analysis, or stakeholder communication
- Preferred: PMP, CPA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, or similar certification
- Experience building business cases, transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, or executive status reporting
- Experience working across both business and technology teams
- Experience in finance transformation, CFO organizations, or financial services domains
