Job Summary
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including revenue booking, cost development, and reconciliations, while ensuring adherence to global accounting standards and operational best practices. Coordinate annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term projections by operating the integrated financial model, incorporating operating assumptions, capital expenditure, and cash flows to monitor performance against targets and recommend corrective actions. Manage lender relationships by calculating and monitoring key financial covenants, preparing periodic compliance reports, and coordinating debt service obligations. Lead financial transformation initiatives, optimize reporting systems, and coach accounting staff on cross-training and development plans.
Required Qualifications
- Over 7 years of diverse finance/ reporting experience
- minimum of 3 years in management roles
- preferably within the utilities industry
- Trained by Big4
- held managerial responsibilities
- Hold professional qualifications such as ACA/ ACCA or equivalent accounting degree
- proficiency in MS Excel – advanced utility (with smart view expertise)
- proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
- Strong experience with ERP systems
- deep understanding of ERP functionalities, integration, and best practices
- Strong experience in preparing, managing, reviewing the management reports
- Strong experience in preparing statutory financial statements
- Strong experience in preparing cash flow projections and forecasts
- Strong experience in Board and shareholder reporting
- Strong experience in operating financial models for projects
- Strong experience in supervising, evaluating and training employees
- Display exceptional communication skills
