Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the National Finance Reporting team, leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Manage a team of three by providing technical guidance, quality reviews, and coaching to ensure timely deadline delivery and continuous process improvement. Strengthen financial controls by reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to maintain accuracy and consistency across all reporting packages. Act as a business partner for management reporting, conducting variance analysis for consolidated results and championing technology adoption for reporting enhancements. Support external audit activities, document internal policies and procedures, and lead governance and compliance initiatives to drive efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Proven experience in team management (functional and performance)
- 7-10 + years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience in professional firms or compensation model for partnership
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close processes, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with budgeting, reporting systems, and process improvement initiatives
