Job Summary
Lead and improve Record-to-Report processes while driving regional controllership for EMEA legal entities. Support month-end close oversight, coordinate statutory and IFRS audit activities, and manage SOX controls implementation as the day-to-day liaison with the Global Controls Coordinator. Own end-to-end RTR process improvement projects, including standardization workstreams for Chart of Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Coordinate internal audit activities, track open findings, and drive remediation. Build strong relationships with Regional Finance Operations Directors, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT, and external auditors. This permanent, full-time role is based in Amsterdam with a gross basic annual salary between EUR 80,000 and EUR 110,000. You will report to the Global RTR Service Delivery Leader.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Professional accounting qualification — CPA, ACCA, CA, RA or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Controllership, RTR or Shared Services — ideally in an international manufacturing or chemicals company
- Multi-jurisdiction statutory and IFRS accounting knowledge
- RTR process expertise (month-end close, BSAR, MJE, Flux Analysis)
- Experience with project management principles
- Fluency in English, both verbal as well as in writing
- Able to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
- A credible communicator with senior stakeholders across functions
- Permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months
- Gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance between EUR 80.000 and EUR 110.000
