Job Summary
Support client delivery and business development by contributing to proposals, preparing presentations, and facilitating workshops. Lead project management activities including engagement planning, economics, and stakeholder communication while reviewing junior deliverables for accuracy. Coach team members on technical expertise and communication skills to enhance their professional development. Drive practice growth through new service offerings, thought leadership, and client-ready materials. Manage the full project lifecycle from problem diagnosis to solution development and client expectation management.
Required Qualifications
- CPA, CA designation
- 7 to 10 years of work experience
- Experience leading a team and coaching junior team members
- Strong technical skills and experience with accounting processes, internal controls, risk assessments, IFRS, ASPE, Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Experience in a finance role/in providing assurance, consulting & advisory services to finance functions
- Expertise in financial management disciplines such as financial process design, operating model design, technology implementation, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, financial performance management and business case development
- Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities (experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership)
- Ability to solve problems and think strategically (i.e., opportunities, recommendations)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, structured, and executive-ready deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, summary decks, and recommendation reports)
- Highly adaptive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a positive attitude towards change and innovation
