Job Summary
Manage financial planning and forecasting for an innovative new initiative, acting as a key finance partner to leadership on budget cycles, headcount tracking, and strategic decision-making. Develop financial models for scenario analysis, monitor performance to identify variances, and create management reports for senior leadership. Own the vendor setup process and drive process improvements to enhance forecasting efficiency. Present financial results and recommendations to executives while participating in ad hoc projects. This hybrid role requires four days in-office and includes travel to Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting
- Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel to Canada required
- This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week
Desired Qualifications
- SAP BW/BPC experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and encapsulate complex data and information in order to build financial models and presentations to senior leadership
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments and work well under pressure
- Must be accurate, highly organized with great attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem solving including analytical and information system skills
- Solid work ethic and follow through
- Willingness to improve processes and improve efficiencies
