Job Summary
The Manager Finance - Master Data Management leads a first-level management role focused on financial stability, compliance, and efficiency within master data management. Responsibilities include developing and analyzing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts; explaining variances and trends to support decision-making; overseeing accurate and timely financial reporting; ensuring adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies; performing in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic decisions; assessing financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies; coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies; identifying opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and reporting; and managing the team to maintain productivity and impact. Key skills include leadership, communication, risk assessment and mitigation, SAP proficiency, GAAP/Sarbanes-Oxley awareness, strong Excel/MS Office capabilities, and the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects. The role requires a related bachelor’s degree with substantial experience in finance, with MBA, CPA, or CMA credentials preferred. The position is based in Calhoun, Georgia (US).
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- MBA preferred
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 6-8 years of job-related experience or equivalent
- Proficient in SAP
- GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Direct reports management
