Job Summary
Senior finance manager focused on Group Reporting & Analytics responsible for delivering accurate regulatory reporting for the Westpac Group. Lead preparation/review of regulatory returns, maintain robust controls and compliance, and translate complex financial/regulatory information into clear insights for senior stakeholders. Collaborate across Finance, business units, and technology change programs, supporting regulatory change initiatives and continuous improvement. Strong emphasis on senior-level delivery, scrutiny-ready outputs, and partnering with stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in financial services, ideally in banking, with strong exposure to financial and regulatory reporting
- A solid grounding in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of core financial concepts
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing regulatory returns and related analysis
- The ability to ensure high standards of accuracy, control, and compliance in reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, business units, and senior audiences
- Confidence presenting complex financial and regulatory information in a clear and simple way
- Experience working in environments with regulatory change, transformation initiatives, or competing priorities
