Job Summary
Lead and manage the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning, including discounted cash flows and valuation projections. Develop dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis while reviewing monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasts. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational objectives, prepare reporting packages for senior leadership and investors, and support the monthly close cycle. Actively coach direct reports, provide structured growth plans, and foster a collaborative team culture. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for management and assist in analyzing investment performance across designated assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis
- at least 1-2 years managing a team
- Experience working in commercial office real estate
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and strategic planning
- Proven ability to present complex financial information to senior executives and non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with financial systems such as Yardi Voyage
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team
