Job Summary
Guide the team on technical accounting and financial reporting matters while managing client relationships and monitoring project progress. Apply Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP to engagements, including GAAP conversions and topical queries on technical accounting. Provide financial reporting support services, assist clients with securities listing requirements, and address regulatory compliance under the Companies Act and SEBI. Manage end-to-end project delivery with stringent deadlines, demonstrating strong business acumen and the ability to assimilate new knowledge in advisory services.
Required Qualifications
- Sound technical knowledge and practical experience of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process
- Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective
- Familiarity with Companies Act, SEBI and related regulatory requirements
- Possess strong domain knowledge, has strong accounting foundation skills
- Experience of financial reporting / accounting implications for M&A / group restructuring
- 2 way match and 3 way match working experience with tax understanding of Indian entities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of financial reporting and finance transformation projects would be an added advantage
