Job Summary

Manager, Field Marketing responsible for overseeing Skillable’s events (online and in-person), logistics, and execution, including ROI analysis to evolve the event experience. Own the plan, execution and optimization of field marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation; lead the entire event strategy for lead generation and customer engagement at events; plan and execute live events, tradeshows, executive events, customer conferences, and experiential campaigns; manage on-site logistics and post-event follow-up; collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams; ensure brand consistency; manage event budgets and report on performance including lead generation, attendance, and engagement; build relationships with vendors and industry partners; mentor a small team; travel and flexible hours as needed; remote-first with distributed team across the U.S.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of experience in field marketing with focus on live events, tradeshows, and experiential marketing
  • 2+ years of management experience leading functional work groups or project teams
  • Proven experience managing and leading teams of varying sizes
  • Proficient in event planning software and tools (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Proven track record of managing and executing large-scale events and marketing initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with ability to oversee multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally and promoting collaborative partnerships to drive results
  • Ability to present material to all levels of the organization
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Strong experience with budgeting, event booth design, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination leadership
  • Ability to analyze event performance and provide data-driven insights to improve future campaigns
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience managing to a budget and delivering within expense constraints
  • Big picture thinker with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) as needed for events and tradeshows
