Job Summary
Manager, Facilities & Engineering responsible for the operation and maintenance of all physical plants, equipment, buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with JCAHO and regulatory requirements. Under minimal supervision, manages subordinate personnel and contractors, oversees maintenance projects, and develops and monitors budgets. Interviews, hires, and evaluates department personnel, addressing complex employee relations issues. Coordinates renovation projects with external architects and contractors, prepares maintenance reports, and participates in hospital design and renovations. Must be available 24/7 and maintain knowledge of current trends in the field.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of previous facilities and engineering supervisory experience
- A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off site location
- Automobile liability coverage as required by law
