Job Summary
Manage structural and infrastructure projects for DDI operations while developing and refining the Waterloo facility roadmap. Coordinate internal and external resources to execute site changes, consolidate requests, and maintain accurate site plans. Lead the facilities team to drive projects that decrease resource consumption and ensure HVAC and humidification systems maintain correct work environments. Monitor carbon emissions, benchmark waste streams with EHS specialists, and respond to governmental and internal queries. Prepare reports communicating key goals to management and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain a general site presence to address day-to-day facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Two to five years of project management experience
- Two to five years of people management experience
- Diploma/Degree in supporting field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised for the majority of the time
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of building systems (i.e. HVAC, electrical, structural, etc.)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
