Job Summary

Develop loan production matrixes to increase growth and market share while identifying new business opportunities and driving consistent performance. Foster a positive work environment through coaching, skill development, and morale building. Execute business-to-business development by attending tradeshows, conferences, and public relations events with realtors, builders, and alliance groups. Coordinate with leadership to implement the Home Loans Strategy and ensure operational integrity through compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide monthly activity reports detailing events and business benefits. Maintain current knowledge of FNMA requirements, real estate products, and credit union policies. Travel locally and statewide to establish and maintain relevant contacts within the region.

Required Qualifications

  • MLO/NMLS Registration
  • Four or more years in Mortgage Sales Management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Current connections/contacts within the Mortgage and Real Estate Industries
  • Maintain and keep current knowledge of FNMA requirements, Real Estate and Equity products and Credit Union operations, plus the regulations, and policy surrounding these products
  • Leadership abilities
  • Ability to motivate and inspire
  • Proven ability to meet and/or exceed individual/team service and production goals
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine, and telephone
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union's risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Weekly local to statewide travel by car or public conveyance to attend meetings and establish/maintain relevant contacts
  • Unusually long or inconsistent hours
