Manager, Executive Operations

Job Summary

Manage executive administrative and operational support for the CTO and Manufacturing & Operations leadership team by coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, CMC, Quality, Supply Chain, and Site Operations. Create meeting agendas, handle travel planning, and track project action items while escalating risks to leadership. Prepare operational reports, presentations, and status updates on department goals and key performance indicators. Work onsite Monday through Friday during regular business hours in Winston Salem, NC.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant business operations, executive operations, project coordination, operations reporting, or senior administrative/operations support experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives, tracking milestones, monitoring risks, and following up on commitments across multiple stakeholders
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, life sciences, or a related field
  • Experience developing executive level reports and summaries
  • Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, technical operations, or another regulated environment
  • Understanding of business operations practices, project coordination, and confidentiality expectations
  • Familiarity with technical operations, manufacturing, quality, CMC, supply chain, regulatory, or regulated business environments
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; ability to build clear reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership-ready materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, follow-through, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Flexibility to take on a wide range of responsibilities to support assigned management/department
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, track action items, monitor risks, and work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and time-critical matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
