Job Summary
Lead internal communications strategy for several senior leaders, drafting talking points, email updates, organizational changes and associate engagement messaging; leverage data to optimize internal channels; drive engagement events and change-management campaigns; ghostwrite executive-level content in leaders' voice; collaborate cross-functionally to manage high-visibility projects; develop storytelling strategies and measurement plans to demonstrate impact; maintain high standards for writing, editing (AP Style), and formatting, while aligning with Capital One’s brand and audience needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 6 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, social media management, writing, or a combination
- At least 3 years of experience in communication strategy development for internal communications or executive leaders
- At least 2 years of experience in ghostwriting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or Journalism
