Job Summary
Manager, Events oversees the execution of select tentpole events while leading a team of full-time and part-time staff. Responsible for the Miami Dolphins game day fan experience initiatives and brand events, and assisting with Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. Develops overall event concepts, execution plans, timelines, and budgets; leads coordination of game day club level entertainment, in-market events, and major Dolphins Foundation initiatives (Garage Sales, Videoboard Messages), and supports additional events leading up to and during race weekends. Requires collaboration, strong problem-solving, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, and capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Location: on-site at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of prior event planning experience
- Be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference
- Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic company
- Strong ability to demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Ability to work nights, long hours, weekends and holidays
