Job Summary
Directs and motivates the banquet/event services team to deliver high-quality service based on requirements and standards; monitors and controls financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection; communicates clearly with ownership for event success; identifies training opportunities and plans strategies to achieve goals. Manages banquet operations by projecting supply needs, ensuring compliance with laws and standards, maximizing customer satisfaction, maintaining sanitation and inventories, scheduling Event Services staff, and driving profit. Leads banquet teams, conducts monthly meetings, shares knowledge of food and wine pairings and current event trends, and acts as liaison to the kitchen while leading shifts in servicing events. Delivers exceptional guest service by actively engaging with guests, handling feedback and complaints, and empowering employees to provide excellent service. Participates in HR activities, safety procedures, corrective action plans, and ongoing improvement efforts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
