Job Summary
Manager within ESG Assurance in Sydney leads end-to-end assurance engagements in sustainability, focusing on emissions assurance and applying international frameworks to enhance credibility of non-financial disclosures. Responsibilities include project management, stakeholder relationship management, and delivering high-quality assurance approaches, baselines, milestones, and resource planning. The role requires experience with emissions assurance audits, knowledge of global and Australian sustainability standards (ISAE/ASAE, ISSB, GRI, TCFD, SDGs, SASB, CDP, NGER, ERF), and the ability to analyze ESG processes and data, perform risk assessments, and produce reliable reports. Required Qualifications
- Experience with Emissions assurance audits
- Knowledge of international sustainability frameworks and guidelines and standards (e.g., ASRS, ISSB, GRI, SDGs, UNPRI, TCFD, GRESB, SASB, NGER, ERF, CDP)
- Knowledge of ISAE and ASAE auditing standards
- Ability to conduct technical and high-quality analysis of ESG processes and data measurement
- Strong assurance knowledge and experience including planning, risk assessments, designing the assurance approach and procedures, testing and reporting
