Manager Environmental Services - FT

Schedule employees and assign daily and project work, providing training and orientation for new staff while conducting inspections and giving direction as needed. Answer calls and respond to emergencies, ensuring adequate staffing levels. Perform floor and carpet care including stripping, waxing, and burnishing, while routinely checking equipment and coordinating repairs. Select and maintain housekeeping supplies, linen counts, and miscellaneous equipment. Interview prospective employees, handle hiring, and supervise or discipline staff as appropriate. Keep attendance records and time sheets for payroll. Establish and develop Press Gainey Initiatives, attend educational programs, and display analytical problem-solving skills.
