Job Summary

Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance across the manufacturing facility. Lead the EHS team by managing performance evaluations, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating audits to mitigate hazards and drive continuous improvement. Deploy and monitor the effectiveness of the EHS management system while engaging leadership to prevent fatal and serious injuries. This role involves developing local systems to capture environmental sustainability data and enhancing employee awareness through targeted training programs. Based at the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility supporting hydraulic actuator production for aerospace applications, you will partner with the VP of Operations to integrate safety into sitewide decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Person within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, protected person, or eligible to obtain required authorizations)
  • Proficient in ensuring adherence to environmental, health, and safety laws and standards
  • Skilled in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential EHS hazards within the organization
  • Capable of leading and managing EHS teams to achieve operational objectives effectively
  • Experienced in developing and implementing short-term and long-term EHS strategies aligned with business goals
  • Competent in leading and teaching teams to conduct thorough investigations of EHS incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Expertise in designing and delivering EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance
  • Skilled in adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Proficient in analyzing EHS data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and inform decision-making
  • Excellent ability to convey EHS policies, procedures, and initiatives clearly to all organizational levels
