Manager Environment, Health & Safety (f/m/d) EPCM Industry – Semiconductor Fabrication Plant

Job Summary
Oversee occupational health and safety (EHS/HSSE) standards on a complex semiconductor manufacturing project, implementing and monitoring policies against applicable regulations and international standards. Independently identify and manage environmental, health, and safety risks while establishing management systems aligned with company guidelines and client requirements. Lead training programs for internal and external stakeholders, facilitate Hazid/Hazop analyses, and collaborate with authorities, suppliers, and project partners to drive continuous performance improvements. Requires 3–5 years of large-scale industrial project experience, fluency in English, and full on-site presence in an EU location west of Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Completed training as a technician or master craftsman in construction or building services engineering, or a comparable qualification in occupational safety (e.g. Safety Specialist or Health & Safety Coordinator)
- Several years of project experience (minimum 3–5 years) on large-scale construction or industrial projects (e.g. plant engineering, life sciences, chemical industry, power plants), as well as familiarity with EPC/EPCM delivery models
- Full flexibility and willingness to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in conducting Hazid/Hazop analyses and facilitating workshops is an advantage
- Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of German, Flemish or French is a strong advantage
