Job Summary

Oversee occupational health and safety (EHS/HSSE) within a complex semiconductor manufacturing project, implementing and monitoring policies against applicable regulations and international standards. Independently identify and manage environmental, health, and safety risks while establishing management systems aligned with client requirements. Conduct training and awareness programs for internal and external stakeholders, including project partners, and drive continuous improvement through regular performance monitoring and reporting. Collaborate with authorities, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve EHS/HSSE objectives, utilizing expertise in Hazid/Hazop analyses where applicable. This role requires 100% on-site presence in an EU neighboring country west of Germany, with part-time or remote options available.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed training as a technician or master craftsman in construction or building services engineering, or a comparable qualification in occupational safety (e.g. Safety Specialist or Health & Safety Coordinator)
  • Several years of project experience (minimum 3–5 years) on large-scale construction or industrial projects (e.g. plant engineering, life sciences, chemical industry, power plants), as well as familiarity with EPC/EPCM delivery models
  • Full flexibility and willingness to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting Hazid/Hazop analyses and facilitating workshops is an advantage
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of German, Flemish or French is a strong advantage
