Job Summary
Senior Manager of Environment and Sustainability to lead development and execution of comprehensive sustainability initiatives aligned with QIC’s strategic goals. Drive environmental stewardship, community engagement, and social responsibility; oversee environmental compliance, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement; manage multiple projects from conception to execution; develop and implement sustainability management frameworks; monitor performance metrics and ensure regulatory alignment; lead assessments, audits, and continuous improvement efforts; coordinate cross-functional collaboration to embed sustainable practices across projects; manage budgets for sustainability initiatives; communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders and stay current with trends and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in environmental management, sustainability, or related field
- Experience in the Middle East, particularly in KSA, preferred
- Proven track record in implementing sustainability initiatives and managing environmental compliance
- A deep understanding of local and international environmental regulations and standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in team management and project oversight
- Willingness to travel as required to project sites and meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Professional Certifications such as LEED, ISO 14001 or similar advantageous
